Some celebrated, some pre-maturely celebrated and some condemned.

The approach at times is clueless, callous and even criminal.

There is a mad rush to be the first,

To offer solutions – medicines, vaccines, …

Some genuine and some not.

Many have died, many sadly will…

Instead of driven by a collective cause

The mantra has become

To save oneself rather than ourselves.
