In Far East and South East Asia,

Countries like India are an enigmatic and intriguing case.

Despite a great history and legacy,

The challenge to prepare and groom surveyors,

To meet the present day needs and demands,

Apparently, looks huge.

For educational institutes, which too are not many

The surveying remains a peripheral curriculum,

And for students, it is yet to be a promising career.

With present, far from being up to mark,

Offers little hope for the future
