When we are tracked, tapped and trapped,

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),

A regulation in European Union (EU) law on data

Protection and privacy for all individuals within the EU

Is a welcome and comforting step

As it endeavors to restrain

The data harvesting of personal information

That is not consented.

It would be interesting to see

The extent it would succeed,

And how the world follow suit.
