The earth quakes again…

And so were shaken lives of many.

Mainly in Nepal,

And in some parts of India.

These tragedies again are grim reminders

About our indifference and callousness.

When most of the cities struggles with the basics,

There is an urgent need

For the lessons to be learnt.

India appears to be euphoric

About its smart cities plan.

However, the related website

Refers little to disaster strategies.

No city can be smart enough

Without appropriate disaster preparedness.
