spatial@gov® Conference and Exhibition 2011- Positioning Australia

Geospatial technology is integral in every corner of the business world and across government. It is receiving widespread recognition across all levels of governments as it provides an essential ‘where’ based perspective to enable governments to provide the right services to the right people at the right time and in the right place.

From 15 – 17 November 2011, CeBIT Global Conferences and the Office of Spatial Policy will stage the third spatial@gov® Conference and Exhibition. This is the only geospatial event organised in conjunction with the peak organisations in Australia and New Zealand representing the public, private,
research and professional sectors of the spatial community. In 2011 the spatial@gov® Conference and Exhibition program will include presentations that show how integral geospatial capabilities are to disaster management, defence operations and water security, and facilitate greater access to public sector information.
