GIS blueprint to combat Maoist

The Indian government want to use an integrated GIS synchronised with GPS in the battle against Maoist. DGP (Director General of Police) Bhupinder Singh said, “It is difficult to combat the Maoists in the dense forests. So, we will use the GIS to track them down. We will also use wireless cameras to locate them.”
