PenBay selects Trimble’s Indoor Mobile Mapping Solution
Trimble announced that PenBay Solutions LLC has selected the TrimbleR Indoor Mobile Mapping Solution (TIMMS) for indoor mapping service. PenBay, will use TIMMS as a key enabler to expand PenBay’s current solutions for real property and public safety applications, helping facility managers, space planners and emergency response agencies understand the critical infrastructure of
buildings.
The goal of PenBay’s expanded service is to offer an advanced GIS solution to clients interested in mapping the as-built interior environment. The collective capabilities that the companies bring to this market result in rapid, accurate data collection and visualization solutions using an indoor 3D LiDAR platform from Trimble.
TIMMS is an indoor mobile mapping solution for facilities management. The solution can produce fast and accurate maps, allowing users to translate their environments directly into 2D & 3D models of structured interiors. The solution enables building owners, facilities managers, engineers and construction professionals to more efficiently plan and manage building assets and properties.
