Now, delaying AI safeguards and easing data rules

Indicates a troubling shift.

The EU seems to be blinking first,

In a high-stakes tech power struggle.

Pushing strict AI rules to 2027,

May fuel innovation or leave citizens exposed.

But loosening personal data protections,

Strikes at the core of Europe’s digital dignity.

Anonymous today, identifiable tomorrow,

Blurs the personal data space.

Europe must compete in the AI race,

But should it, by surrendering its soul?
