Upon very successful events in 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2012, 5th Jubilee edition of the International Conference on Cartography and GIS (ICC&GIS) is organized in Bulgaria.

The aim of the conference is to collect knowledge and share experience about the latest achievements in the field of cartography and GIS. Nowadays, particular attention is paid to the important European region – the Balkan Peninsula.
During the conference, ICA commissions will hold their annual meetings

and share best practices in their areas.

The best papers will be proposed for publishing in a book – working title:
Thematic Cartography for the Society, published by Springer

JANUARY 10, 2014 – Abstract submission for the Conference proceedings. Full paper submission for the Springer Book

JANUARY 30, 2014  – Notification of acceptance of abstracts

FEBRUARY 15, 2014 – Notification of acceptance of full papers

FEBRUARY 25, 2014 – Final full paper submission for the Springer Book

FEBRUARY 28, 2014 – Payment of early registration fee

MAY 1, 2014 – Final full paper submission for the Conference proceedings. Regular registration

JUNE 16-20, 2014 – 5th ICCGIS – conference dates
