Head of India’s GNSS Space Program to speak at GRACE
Professor Kibe, Head of the Indian GNSS programme at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) will deliver a lecture and update on the status of the Indian GNSS programme. The Indian government have recently committed to investing excess of 300 million USD in strengthening their capability in GNSS including GAGAN (GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation-Technology Demonstration System) and IRNSS (Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System) and potential plans for the creation of GINS (Global Indian Navigation System).
Dr. Kibe will speak at the Exchange Building (LT2) on the Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham. The lecture is sponsored by GRACE, the GNSS Research and Applications Centre of Excellence at the university.
