EARTHSENSE 2025

IEEE EarthSense 2025—formally the IEEE International Conference on Next-Gen Technologies of Artificial Intelligence and Geoscience Remote Sensing on 17–18 September 2025 in KL University, Aziz Nagar Campus, Hyderabad, India. It is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS).

This international conference will convene scientists, engineers, industry professionals, and policymakers to explore cutting-edge developments at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and geoscience remote sensing. The focal themes include:

  • Advanced Remote Sensing Technologies: Stimulating discussions on next-gen satellite platforms (smallsats, CubeSats, hyperspectral sensors), LiDAR, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), thermal imaging, UAV-based sensing, and AI-enhanced geospatial data analysis.
  • Environmental, Climate & Natural Hazard Monitoring: Topics such as ecosystem assessment, water resource and biodiversity tracking, precision agriculture, carbon cycle and deforestation monitoring, and AI-driven early warnings for earthquakes, floods, wildfires, and landslides will be featured.
  • Data Fusion, Big Data & Applications: Panels will cover integration of multi-sensor data, cloud-based geospatial analytics, HPC for Earth observation, and scalable big-data strategies.
  • Innovation Crossroads: The conference also spotlights applications in health monitoring (e.g., mapping disease risk and environmental health), sustainable agricultureforest and biomass estimationrenewable energy infrastructure monitoring, and environmental impact analytics

The event promises to be a central platform for presenting novel research, fostering academic–industry partnerships, and advancing the technological capabilities of Earth observation.
