Taiwan’s National Space Organization (NSPO) says it is planning to launch the satellite FORMOSAT-5 in 2013. The satellite will carry a high-resolution optical remote sensing instrument for earth sensing and earth observation. The instrument was designed, manufactured and packaged in Taiwan.
